The RMod Lab is focused on developing in silico mathematical models, conducting diet surveys, and using innovative risk assessment approaches to address food safety, toxicology, and risk assessment issues.
We develop and apply innovative physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models to address exposure to environmental chemicals in the target tissues in laboratory animals and humans.
Based on national population consumption data, we design a representative food sampling list combined with chemical analysis to investigate concentrations in foods.
We are a highly interdisciplinary research group in PBPK modeling, risk modeling, diet survey, chemical analysis, environmental epidemiology, and biostatistics.
